This silence makes me worry ...

No worries mate. I'm a bit behind of the driders because of work reason.
Having that cold and using far too much time on moving to a new place; left me somewhat behind on my work, so been working hard to catch up that doesn't mean I've been leaving the Driders to hang.. I'm doing animation for them which is a time consuming process, and not really a lot that can be shown through screen. I'll be making a movie clip when I get a chance to display some of them. Walking animation with eight legs is a pain though :P

I'll be posting updates soon :)

You bet, Jonny! Do a realistic animation is an art. Make a good aracnid animation has to be a colossal task! Take your time, pal. I'm sure it will be a superb animated model, as beholder was. I think all the community understands you have a very difficult task, and we can wait a bit more as long as necessary.

Cheer up! 8-)

Work?!?

You work for us now.

Don't make us have to start mixing up a pair of cement shoes.

Or take your time...I'm surprised your actually working on it with all that on your shoulders.

here's a movie file of a 6 legged insect walking that may be helpful to you...i shot this on vacation a year ago in ne england....

notice how it only moves 3 legs at any one time, 2 legs on one side and one on the opposite side then it switches sides..

hope this helps

It uses the apple h264 codec for compression.
