Just started ME1. That a lot better than I expected. All the mythology and background is amazingly well done. Very Asminov or McCarthy like.
Really liking it.

If all sci-fi games were this good, I would be a huge fan of the genre. I like sci-fi reading more than fantasy, but was reversed when it came to games. Sci-Fi always seemed more introspective about people and contemplative when considering the direction of people in the future. Looks like this game finally took some of that to heart and worked on developing it. Great stuff. This also bodes well for Dragon Age if its anything similar.

And a follow up a few months later. Finished ME1 a couple weeks back. Loved it. Some of the side missions were a little akward, but all in all, a great story.

Now I just started up Ghost Busters. This has to be the most underated game of the year. Its fantastic fun and plays out like a third movie. GReat stuff.

Awesome Foil! Super happy to hear you liked it!

I felt the side missions were tedious and redundant. I assume it was to kill time and gain XP. I hope they break it up a bit in ME2.

Mass Effect 2 Release trailer:

Breathtaking. Nice score for the trailer.

This is quickly forging its way to the top of my all time favorite game list dethroning all past D&D/DAO or other games.

These guys on the ME team know how to tell stories and produce cinematographic games. They are in a league of their own in my little opinion.

This series really crept up out of nowhere on me.

i've been amazed at the amount of mainstream coverage and advertising ME2 has been getting - I don't expect to see the computer games I play on big screens in one of london's biggest train stations when i go into work every morning.

Yep, I'll have to finished ME1 at some point too...
